2018/2019 Africa Initiative For Governance (AIG) Scholarships At Oxford University,UK

The Africa Initiative For Governance (AIG) Scholarship Program is targeted at Graduates who are looking towards undergoing a degree program at Oxford University, UK.

This Scholarships Programme is awarded to graduates between the ages of 25 and 35, some of whom may have work experience. The Scholars will be exceptionally intelligent graduates who have excelled academically as well as in other areas.

Application Deadline: 14th September 2018

  • Applicants must be citizens of Nigeria & Ghana
  • Applicants must Age between 25 and 35 years

2018 Canada Scholarships: $30,000 Worth Killam Scholarship At University Of British Columbia

Applications are invited for the Killam Scholarship Program which is awarded to International students who are looking towards pursuing a degree program at University Of British Columbia, Canada (UBC)

Their primary purpose is to support advanced education and research at five Canadian universities and the Canada Council for the Arts. The UBC Killam Doctoral Scholarships are provided annually from the Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Fund for Advanced Studies

Eligibility:
  • Applicants must be Canadian, Permanent Resident or International students
  • Applicants must have completed their Masters & Undergraduate degree program
  • Applicants must have applied or applying to UBC
  • Applicants must be proficient in English Language
Application Process:  Applicants submit their application materials to the College of Graduate Studies. Please note that students who submit a NSERC doctoral or a SSHRC doctoral award application to the College of Graduate Studies are successfully forwarded to the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (G+PS), are automatically considered for Killam Doctoral Scholarship funding. These students do not need to submit a separate Affiliated Fellowship application.
Applicants may submit complete application forms directly to graduateawards.ok@ubc.ca or submit a hard (paper) copy to the College of Graduate Studies.

Edufrica is offering scholarship opportunities to Africans who wants to pursue an undergraduate, master’s, MBA and PhD programmes within and outside Africa.

This scholarship program aims to support students who demonstrate the greatest potential to excel in their field of study, and have a positive impact on society.

Application Process:  Complete the application form. As part of the application process, you also need to submit one essay.
Write an essay discussing your dream for the continent or your country and your role in it. What do you wish to see and do after graduation? What do you wish different stakeholders on the continent would do? (max. 500 words) Hardship scholarship only: Please describe the nature of the hardship and why you do not have any other way of raising funds to address it.
