FUNAI 2018/2019 JUPEB And Pre-degree Admission

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates into the AE-FUNAI Centre for Educational Services (AE-FUNAI CES) for admission into a non-resident JUPEB and Pre-Degree programmes of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State. The Pre-degree programme is designed to prepare candidates for admission into degree programmes in all disciplines of the University while the JUPEB programme is a 10-month intensive coaching designed to prepare candidates for direct entry admission into the 200-level of departments of candidates’ choices in AE-FUNAI and the over 60 universities in Nigeria and abroad affiliated to the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB). AE-FUNAI has successfully run these programmes since 2014 and has gained acclamation for that, nationally.

ELIGIBILITY

Candidates for the programmes must possess a minimum of five (5) credits in five (5) relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) at a maximum of two sittings.

DURATION

The JUPEB programme normally runs for two (2) semesters within about ten (10) calendar months.

The AE-FUNAI’s Centre for Educational Services (AE-FUNAI CES) will prepare candidates for admission into Bachelors’ degree programmes in the following Faculties:

APPLICATION FEE: Ten thousand Naira (N10, 000. 00) only.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

1. Visit the AE-FUNAI CES ePortal (ces.funai.edu.ng). On the menu bar, click on ePortal, and select “Start Online Application” from the drop-down menu. You will be required to supply your email address and other required information in order to start your online application.
2. After creating an Account, login in with your Application No. and Password and follow the necessary processes to capture your personal information.

1. Generate your Remita Retrieval Number (RRN) for payment. Instructions on how to generate your RRN will be automatically displayed on the payment page on your browser. Please read carefully and note that your RRN MUST BE ACTIVATED on our ePortal before payment is made.

1. After payment, a 16-digit PIN will be sent to your Mobile Phone to enable you complete all remaining and necessary sections of your Online Application.
2. Ensure that all sections of your application form are correctly filled, and click on “Complete Application” to submit your application to our online server. Our server shall acknowledge receipt of your form by sending an SMS to your Mobile Phone. Print two coloured copies of your Application Form.

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Applicants into 2018/2019 preliminary programme are advised to check the AE-FUNAI CES website (ces.funai.edu.ng) for other relevant information.
2. Applicants must provide a recent coloured passport photograph (taken not earlier than 3 months before time of application) with a white background. Selfies, blurred and webcam photos are strictly prohibited. Applicants who upload wrong bio-data and credentials will be disqualified and shall forfeit their application fee.
3. Applicants are to report to the AE-FUNAI Centre for Educational Services for Registration and Screening, ONLY when they have received an Invitation (through email) and Admission Letter approved by the Director. Applicants are hereby advised to use valid e-mail addresses and PERSONAL telephone numbers.
4. Applicants are advised to follow the application instructions carefully and ensure they follow the stipulated guidelines. Failure to do so may adversely affect the candidate. FUNAI 2018 Post-UTME Cut-off Mark, Date, Eligibility And Registration Details

FUNAI Post-UTME Screening registration, cut-off mark, eligibility, screening fee, application cost, deadline and all relevant information for 2018/2019 academic session have been announced. Cut-off mark is 180. Screening fee is N2000. Deadline is July 27th. Screening holds August 8th - 21st, 2018.

This is to inform the general public that registration for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME) of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, shall commence on Friday, 6th July, 2018 and end on Friday, 27th July, 2018.

Interested candidates who made Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State their first choice institution in their application for admission in the 2018/2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and scored 180 and above are hereby informed that the University’s Post-UTME Screening Test for the under-listed programmes is scheduled to hold from Wednesday, 8th August, 2018 to Tuesday, 21st  August, 2018. The screeening will be Computer Based Test. Candidates need to get the Original Post-UTME past questions of FUNAI for adequate preparation.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Prospective candidates who scored 180 and above and did not choose  AE–FUNAI as   their first choice institution, but wish to study in any of the University’s newly approved programmes, should visit the University’s website funai.edu.ng and click on “New Programmes” for registration. Such candidates are however advised to effect change of institution/course to AE-FUNAI on the JAMB portal.
• Successful candidates who may be offered provisional admission are advised to accept the offer within two weeks or shall be deemed to have forfeited the offer.
• Prospective candidates who may wish to register for the POST UTME through the AE-FUNAI ICT Centres should visit the University CBT Centre, take-off site or Centre for Educational Services (Foundation/Pre-degree School), Aguogboriga Estate, Abakaliki.

FUNAI Notice To 2018 Post-UTME Candidates On Change Of Course

MODE OF PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2, 000 only. To register, follow the steps outlined below:

1. Visit the University website: www.funai.edu.ng, go to News, Click on 2018/2019 Admission Screening
2. Click on “Prospective Students”
3. Click on “Click to Apply” under 2018/2019 Admission Screening Application
4. Enter your “JAMB Registration Number”
5. Select your payment mode (Generate Remita Retrieval Reference Number).
6. Proceed to any bank for your payment with your Remita number.
7. Return to the Application page and enter your “JAMB Registration Number” again.
8. Proceed with the completion of the form.
9. Upload CLEAR COPIES of 2018 UTME Result, O’ Level results, recent passport photograph, Birth Certificate, and Local Government Identification.
10. Confirm your entries.
11. Submit your application.
12. Print out your acknowledgement slip.
13. And come with it for the Post-UTME Test.

TEST REQUIREMENTS

Candidates are required to come with the following items:

1. Registration print-out acknowledgement slip from the University website, which should indicate their date and time of test
2. 2018/2019 Original UTME Result slip (not photocopy) showing candidate’s picture and score

FUNAI Notice To 2018 Post-UTME Candidates On Change Of Course

FUNAI 2018 Post-UTME Candidates who applied for the courses listed below during the 2018 JAMB registration have been advised by the management of the university to change to other courdes available in the university as soon as possible.

The under listed programmes, although advertised by JAMB on behalf of FUNAI, are not yet offered in the University. Candidates who may have chosen any of the listed programmes are advised to change programmes as there may not be admitted into these programmes in the 2018/2019 Session.
